LEAP Academy is a small BCBA‑founded K–5 school in Berkeley Lake serving autistic and neurodivergent kids from across metro Atlanta. Your child is not a number here. Your child is known here. These are the three biggest reasons families tell us they chose LEAP.
Most families come to us tired of juggling public school, ABA, speech, and OT across different places. At LEAP, all of that happens under one roof and on one schedule. The people who plan your child's day are the same people teaching them.
LEAP was built specifically for autistic and neurodivergent kids, by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. RBTs work in every classroom under live BCBA supervision. So behavior support happens during the lesson, not down the hall.
Most parents assume a private autism school is out of reach. It often isn't. We walk through scholarships, state funding, and insurance with you, and figure out what you qualify for and how to apply it to LEAP. You leave knowing what's possible.
We talk to a lot of families considering LEAP. These are the four questions that come up most. If yours isn't here, bring it to your tour.
LEAP is a small K–5 private day school for autistic and neurodivergent kids. Most students are between kindergarten and 5th grade. If your child is slightly outside that range, come tour anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether we're a fit.
No. Many families come to us mid‑evaluation. A diagnosis helps but isn't required to book a tour. On your visit we'll talk through your child's needs and whether LEAP is the right place for them.
Annual tuition at LEAP is $18,000. That's a serious number for most families, so we walk you through scholarships, state programs, and insurance options that may bring it down. On your tour, we'll map out a clear funding plan together.
Most families we meet are stuck between school with little behavior support and therapy with no academics. LEAP closes that gap. We're BCBA‑founded, RBTs work in every classroom, and school, ABA, and speech all happen on one campus. One team. One plan. All day.
